Eurospace Group has been carrying out for several years an important non-profit initiative whose aim is to disseminate, at a national and European level, what has been concretely developed in the field of Information and Communication Technology by the European Public Administrations.
The non-profit project foresees the realization of a programmed series of conventions in Europe coinciding with the annual publication of a volume about the progress report of E-government in Europe.
The publication, conceived as a useful instrument of information and updating for European Public Administrations as well as for public and private bodies involved in this field, is distributed without charge both on a national and a European level: showcases for public administration, ministers, regional governors, councillors responsible for innovation at a regional, provincial and municipal level, European institutions, international companies, Italian consulates and embassies.
The Volume, originally published in 2003, was first introduced Europe-wide in 2005, at the “E-government European Experiences at Local and National Level” convention held in Brussels in collaboration with the Lazio Region.
The interest aroused by the event has motivated EuroSpace Group to go ahead with the initiative and so it has become an important annual appointment with the qualified and updated information from the world of ICT and e-Government.
Therefore the initiative, today at its seventh edition, is continuing its own way throughout Europe: after Bologna (Com-P.A 3rd November 2005,), Bruxelles, (branch of Lazio Region , 10th March 2005), Vienna (Austria, 8th November 2006), Vilnius, (Lituania, 8th October 2007), Sofia (Bulgaria, 1-2 Ottobre Madrid (Spain, 5th October 2009), ), the next stop will be Prague (Czech Republic, next October 2010).
